Case one: The pump motor has an electrical leak
* Reason:
It is possible that the wire using a wire connection, the winding wire in the motor has been touched by the shell due to damage to the insulation. In addition, it could be caused by dampening of the motor winding or water flowing in.
* Remedies:
Dry or check the wire connection.
Case 2: The centrifugal pump motor is running hot, causing power loss
* Reason:
The machine engine wire is shorted
* How to fix:
Wrap the wire in the engine
Case 3: The machine is still operating normally but no water comes out
* Reason:
This is because there is no water entering the inlet of the suction tube due to dehydration or the water supply has been exhausted. In this case, do not let the machine run for a long time, otherwise it will lead to a fire in the pump. It may also be caused by loss of priming water due to an uncovered check valve or a blockage or a broken inside the suction tube.
* Remedies:
- Should check the water source.
- Drain the air in the pump chamber and priming the machine again.
- In the event that the nozzle is blocked or the straw is broken, you need to check the straw and replace it.
Case 4: There is a current signal to the centrifuge, but the machine still does not work
* Reason:
This situation has many causes such as:
- The capacitor in the circuit in the auxiliary winding of the motor winding is damaged.
* How to fix:
Replace other capacitors.
- The source voltage is too weak.
* How to fix:
Increased voltage.
- The impeller part is stuck, damaged, broken or caused by water to create a residue on the surface of the impeller.
* How to fix:
Check, clean, and replace new pump blades.
Case 5: The pump is running with a loud noise, the amount of water pumped out evenly, the pump head is not hot
* Reason:
The electric motor bearing grease has dried due to dryness or it may be due to wear and water entering the bearing.
* How to fix:
Perform clean cleaning, lubricating the bearing.
Things to keep in mind when using a centrifugal pump:
- For a deep well using a centrifugal pump, it is necessary to prim the water before using it and install a one-way valve on the push pipe. If there is no water, the pump will screech, resulting in blocking damage and burning the pump-pulling motor.
- Want to have a strong, continuous water source and prolong the usage of the pump, it should be noted: strong water source, the water pipe for the pump is usually 34 mm, the outlet has a diameter of 27 mm.
- Need to install a water filter at the inlet to filter dust, soil, sand that can lead to clogging of the impeller.
- If the pumped water is not visible, the indoor pipe is leaking, the one-way valve is damaged, the auto buoy is damaged, the seals, propellers and bearings are damaged. It is necessary to repair it immediately or it will burn the pump motor.
- When pumping from a very weak tap water source, it is also necessary to primer water before starting and install a 1-way valve as for a deep well pump. If there is no water, the seal will be damaged by overheating and cause water to flow back into the machine causing fire.
- If the water pump motor rotates very slowly and the water outflow is very weak, it is because the two pump bearings have dried the oil. This often leads to fuse blown. To fix this, put a little bit of oil on both ends of the shaft before replacing the fuse and running the pump again.
