INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLING ONE-WAY VALVE

I-INTRODUCTION TO ONE-WAY VALVE

- A type of valve that only allows fluid flow to flow in the direction, structure of the valve and the opposite direction to be controlled. In addition to only allowing the liquid to flow in one direction, when installed in the piping system, the check valve is effective to avoid water hammer.   

- Classification: check valve is diverse in types, each with different characteristics and applications such as check valve type one flap (Swing), check valve type two flaps (Wafer), check valve type axial (Axial), ball check valve, counterweight (Tilting) ... ..

II- INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

- The dimensions of the pipe and valve must be identical

- Installed in the correct direction and a valve shaft end in the red arrow position to allow the fluid to affect both valve blades

- There should be a seal between the two flanges of the pipe and the valve. The sealing gasket must be the same diameter as that of the valve, avoiding the case of the wrong size seal causing blockage or system leakage.

- Tighten bolts and nuts slowly along the plane

Pay attention to the distance, a minimum gap should be appreciated between the check valve and other factors to avoid hydraulic collisions.

- Attention when installing the valve as follows:

1-Check valve 2-leaf type (Wafer check valve)

                                    Horizontal installation Vertical installation

                              (parallel to the floor) (perpendicular to the floor)

Ball check valve

Axial check valve

4-check valve, Lìft (Lift check valve)

5-check valve 1-leaf flip (Swing check valve)
